So it works like a Melody Coupler, where the top note of what you are playing on the upper keyboard is doubled by whatever you have set on the Orbit. I believe it may also have a coupler to play the Orbit from the upper manual, along with whatever sounds you have set on it. But there is a octave up and down transposer in it, so you can switch the range to where it works best for some of the sounds. I remember the Orbit III keyboard is too short - they should have made it 3 octaves. I was told the TA part of the model # means it is a theatre style console. I now think the control colors are pretty gaudy, but that was a 70s thing, and we thought it was cool back then. Unfortunately, I don't recall a lot of the useful setups I used back then, but I do recall that it has quite a decent audio system built into it. Back in the era when that model was new, I was one of the kids that played one of them in the front of the Wurlitzer store in the shopping mall, to show the people passing by all the sounds and features those organs have in them.
